The SDSU Advanced Standing MSW program was awarded four $8,000 stipends from San Diego County Behavioral Health, for ASP students only, for funding through 2017.
Students receive $8,000 from San Diego County’s WET (Workforce Education and Training) funds, in exchange for a two years employment payback commitment to work in a San Diego County mental health agency after graduation. Students who receive this mental health stipend, join the SDSU Mental Health Training Program with a specialized curriculum, enrichment seminars and field trips.

How to Apply
Students may only apply once they have been admitted to the MSW program and have completed their first semester for SW 650. An informational meeting about the process will be held in November 2014. Applications will be due at the end of January 2015.
