Biography:

Yawen Li is a health social scientist specializing in health disparities and inequality in healthcare access. Her areas of interest include sociocultural and environmental determinants of health and health-seeking behaviors over the life course. Her research agenda is to understand individuals’ health in the context of their social environment and to probe into person-environment interactions. She is presently researching the effects of changes in social environment on health status over time among older adults.
