The Field Education team welcomes back Amalia B. Hernandez, MSW. Ms. Hernandez recently took on the role of Project Coordinator for Title IV-E BASW & MSW Child Welfare Stipend Program. Ms. Hernandez’s background is in School Social Work and Children’s Mental Health. She has served in various capacities –School Social Worker, Mental Health Consultant and Behavior Intervention Case Manager. Ms. Hernandez is a Certified as a Restorative Practices Trainer and Trauma Informed Practices in Classrooms Trainer. Amalia has worked in the School of Social Work at SDSU for eight years as a Lecturer, Field Faculty, Title IV-E Faculty, PPS Coordinator and Undergraduate Adviser.
