The Project Director is Dr. Anita Harbert, Director of the School of Social Work . The Program is coordinated by Professors Amy Okamura and Charlene Letourneau and staffed by Sylvia Telafaro and Anne Evosevich. Faculty members who play a key role in program implementation are Professor Linda Newell; and Dr. Charlene Letourneau. The current San Diego County 's Child Welfare Services Internship Liaison is Omar Lopez. Anita S. Harbert, PhD Dr. Harbert is the Director of the School of Social Work and the Project Director for the Title IV-E MSW & BA-SW Public Child Welfare Stipend Program. Dr. Harbert is the administrator with overall responsibility for overseeing the direction of the Program.   Amy Okamura, LCSW, BCD Professor Okamura is the Coordinator of the Title IV-E MSW & BA-SW Public Child Welfare Stipend Programs. She provides coordination to the program, consults with the faculty concerning the development & implementation of the program, and is responsible for managing the day to day operation of the program. She teaches undergraduate social work generalist practice.   Charlene Letourneau, DSW Dr. Letourneau is the Co-Coordinator of the Title IV-E BA-SW Public Child Welfare Stipend program and is also a Public Child Welfare instructor for the MSW & the BA-SW Public Child Welfare Stipend Programs. She teaches undergraduate and graduate child welfare courses, HBSE, and serves as a Field Faculty member.   Linda Newell, LCSW Professor Newell serves as Associate Field Coordinator for the School of Social Work and is responsible for coordinating all internships for the Title IV-E MSW & BA-SW students. She is also a Field Education Faculty Instructor.   Sylvia Cameron Telafaro Sylvia is the Project Assistant for the Title IV-E BA-SW Public Child Welfare Stipend Program. She assists the coordinator with recruitment and the implementation and maintenance of the Title IV-E website. Sylvia is also the editor for the Title IV-E Newsletter, “IV-ES' News”.   Anne Evosevich Anne is the Fiscal Assistant for the Title IV-E MSW & BA-SW Public Child Welfare Stipend Program. She is responsible for processing fiscal claims and repayments for both programs.
