The school has started an official blog which will feature student and faculty submissions.
What does “In Situ” mean?
It means “in the field”. The goal of this blog is to provide a venue for our faculty, staff, and students to share their thoughts, teaching, aspirations, and insights regarding all things social work.
You may write a scholarly piece, something in the first person, or perhaps a poem. We are interested in all of your ideas!
We just ask that it pertain to the field of social work: practice, administration, policy, research, and/or education. Over the next year, look for faculty submissions on cultural humility, aspects of mental health, international social work, the current immigration policy debate, consensus organizing with foster youth, evidence-based practices and their implementation, and drug and alcohol work, among other topics.
