We know how concerning it can be after graduation. Often asked is “What now?” “Where do I go from here?”
On Friday, May 8, 2020, students were invite to a special event via Zoom. Students were asked to come with any questions and get the answers they are looking for.
Panelists were invited from a variety of social work settings from San Diego to participate. They shared their career journey, interviewing tips and what employers are looking for!
Special thanks goes to Besma Coda, Clinic Service Manager at San Ysidro Health, Sabrina Padillo, Social Worker/Case Manager at Rehabilitation Care Coordination, Sakara Tear, Program Officer at Price Philanthropies and Dashawn White, Bilingual Protective Services Worker with the County of San Diego, Child Welfare Services for you time and knowledge in helping our graduates transition from students to social workers.
Thank you to all who attended the event, including our School of Social Work faculty. Your time to our students is greatly appreciated!
