Conrad Prebys Youth Behavioral Health Stipend
Funded by the Conrad Prebys Foundation, the Conrad Prebys Youth Behavioral Health Stipend was created to address the need to support a bilingual, culturally-responsive social work workforce and increase the number and diversity of well-trained and highly committed Master-level clinical social workers who support youth behavioral health needs in the San Diego region. Recipients should intend to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have a demonstrated passion for meeting the mental health needs of youth from culturally and linguistically diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. This stipend is currently secured for AY 2023-2024 and 2024- 2025.
Preferred candidates will:
- Be bilingual with demonstrated proficiency in languages such as: Somali, Khmer, Burmese, Vietnamese, Arabic, Spanish, or Amharic
- Have filed a FAFSA and demonstrated financial need
