SDSU School of Social Work: Reaccredited by CSWE for the next 8 years for BASW and MSW Programs

We are pleased to share fantastic "official" news from CSWE’s Department of Social Work Accreditation that the SDSU School of Social Work received the CSWE reaffirmation of accreditation for the next 8 years for both the SDSU baccalaureate social work program and the master's social work program.

"At its October 2025 meeting, the Board of Accreditation (BOA) reviewed the Reaffirmation materials for the baccalaureate social work program and the master’s social work program at SDSU. The BOA decided to Reaffirm Accreditation for 8 Years, ending in October 2033. Congratulations on this achievement."

This remarkable achievement is a true testament to the hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment of faculty, staff, students, and our valued community and field education partners. Each of them played an essential role in making the reaffirmation preparation and process a tremendous success.
