The School of Social Work will be hosting a school-wide event called "All School Day." It is scheduled for March 8 (Friday), from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. It is to celebrate Social Work Month and to bring together faculty, students, and community leaders to engage in thoughtful dialogue and discussion on the topics affecting all of us. We had our ASD event back in 2020, right before the COVID-19 shutdown, and this year is the first in-person event since then.
This year's theme is historical trauma and the role of social workers. Two of our own faculty will help with the event: Dr. Megan Ebor for the morning panel session and Ms. Tamara Strohauer, LCSW, for the second session student roundtable discussion.
