Masters of Social Work Students, Christie Jiminez and Jazmyn Horton, Help Bring Free Health Products to Imperial Valley Campus

On Monday, Feb 21st Planned Parenthood Generation Action at SDSU IV celebrated the installation of new bathroom dispensers that provide FREE period products and condoms to students. This work was student-led and initiated, with input from students across campus, over months of advocacy. This is a first for the IV campus, having almost no dispensers at all for students prior to this, and builds on what the West campus currently has, solely supplying period products in bathrooms. The composition of this organization includes queer, Hispanic, undergraduate, and graduate student, with a special highlight to two Masters of Social Work students, Christie Jiminez and Jazmyn Horton!
