The Passport Project

We are happy to share an opportunity for first-generation, Latinx SDSU students. Through a partnership between SDSU Global Education Office and the SDSU Latinx Resource Center, the American Passport Project will provide financial assistance to cover costs for students to obtain their first U.S. passport and support their educational goals of studying abroad. Additionally, the SDSU Global Education Office will provide one on one support to students to plan their study experience.

To be eligible, students must be first-time U.S. passport applicants, be first-generation, Latinx students, and have plans to study abroad during their academic journey at SDSU.

The priority deadline to apply is Friday, February 4, 2022 and students can access the application at: bit.ly/SDSUPassportProject or visiting the LRC Instagram page.
